Alexandrite: crystal in matrix

This small Alexandrite crystal layered in matrix has been in my teaching collection for over 15 years. It comprises predominantly black matrix exhibiting randomly layered material, but has a decent visible gemmy layer of green. Although only small it has a strong energy, and has been interesting to use in meditation and journeying.
