Amber (red): polished nugget

It is very rare to find Red (Cherry) Amber that has not been artificially made by heating yellow amber. I found just two red pieces when combing through a shipment of natural Golden Amber in a mineral warehouse a number of years ago, and feel that they are the real thing. Since then they have been in my teaching stock, but it is time for them to move on. Like all amber this red form is warming and comforting, but its affinity is strongest with the base or Earth Star chakras – especially when used in combination with orange and yellow forms at the sacral / solar plexus respectively. It also has the potential to re-energise any centre that is sluggish or slow, and help ground healing energies into the body.
