Herkimer Diamond: crystal

This good sized Herkimer Diamond crystal has one nearly perfect termination, and one that is deeply pitted and layered, showing where it probably became detached from a cluster. There are also some signs of extraction damage, with a very minor external and internal plane of fracture. Other than this there are a few black inclusions of anthraxolite and a few smaller ‘keys’; but overall the crystal has clean sides and faces, with a very good clarity and a strong energy.
