Herkimer Diamond: crystal

This small Herkimer Diamond crystal has imperfect terminations, due to fracturing during the extraction process. Despite missing around 1/3 of its body, it has a lovely clarity, exhibiting nice rainbows in the veiling and internal fractures. There are also some small inclusions and surface deposits of black anthraxolite. A nice clear energy!
