Ruby

Ruby is a variety of corundum, an aluminium oxide with a hardness of 9. Its crystal system is hexagonal and it may be found in crystal, granular and massive formations. Its red colour comes form the mineral chromium.
Ruby is one of the best grounding, warming and energising stones. This is the premier stone of Archangel Chamuel and Charity, committed warriors for the Light and architects of Divine Love and Compassion; and the Ascended Master Padmasambhava, Chohan of the Ruby Ray, for it carries the Ruby Ray and all the spectrum of Red, including pink. It is a stone of courage; a stone for the warrior; a stone for the survivor; a stone for the Inner King / Queen; a stone of great Love; and a stone that will underpin great contentment and success. Ruby is good to use at the heart chakra, and also at the base chakra as may be expected. But don’t confine it to there as it will work well virtually anywhere that energy, verve and commitment are needed. It very much helps to ground the spiritual into the physical, so that the Higher side of our natures may become an integral part of our daily lives. It is certainly a Master at healing emotional wounds and as such it may help in supporting the release of old habits or patterns both on an emotional and physical level. It may also help in integrating new and more beneficial patterns into our lives.
