Chrysocolla (mix)

Chrysocolla is a turquoise-blue copper-based mineral that is often found in combination with quartz and/or other copper minerals. A clue to the identity of these minerals may be found by looking at their colours. Although this method is not foolproof, here is a general guide: DARK BLUE - Azurite, Shattuckite; BRIGHT (ROYAL) BLUE - Azurite; SKY BLUE - Chrysocolla, Turquoise, Shattuckite; PALE BLUE - Chrysocolla; BLUE-GREEN - Chrysocolla, Turquoise; GREEN - Chrysocolla, Malachite, Turquoise; DEEP RED / BROWN - Cuprite. Some of these minerals are very commonly found together - especially Azurite and Malachite. All the afore-mentioned minerals have similar uses due to their coppery nature, and their colour-range means that they will resonate with the heart, throat and brow chakras - those with cuprite having an added element of grounding with them.
Regardless of their proportions of individual minerals, these copper-based crystals have a beauty that reminds me of the colours of our planet and the natural world of land, sea and sky. They carry a Light of hope and positivity, and a deep core truth within that can help support us as we "walk our walk" and "talk our talk". The copper element also makes any of them a good choice for painful joint conditions such as arthritis, whilst the predominantly blue coloured stones can also help cool any physical or subtle system that is overheated. Those stones with a lot of green malachite in will also support healing and balance of the heart chakra, especially where there are "layers" that need peeling away and lovingly healing piece by piece.
