Pendants

Each hand-crafted pendant has been individually designed specifically to complement and enhance the beauty and 'energy' of the crystals or stones that have been chosen as its focus; and is mounted, set and/or supported in Sterling Silver*. Every piece always starts with a hand-selected crystal: Arthur sometimes then finds that the complete design of the finished piece immediately comes into his mind, or (more usually) finds that the design evolves as he works with the crystal and the silver, which means that a piece can take him between 2 and 5 hours to complete, depending on its complexity. Arthur is very 'energy aware', and you will find that his style is fundamentally 'naive', with Celtic and symbolic esoteric overtones and influences.
Each piece comes in a presentation box, accompanied by a 'birth certificate' that provides information about the crystal(s) and materials used in its design and creation. Pendants are not sold with a chain, to allow greater freedom in how you wear it: the height at which the crystal sits (such as over the thymus, throat or heart chakras) influences the manner in which it works, and so it can be useful to have different lengths - and even styles - of chain to choose from. Alternatively you may prefer to hang your pendant from a fabric or leather thong, or on a choker wire. The hanging 'loop' is designed to allow for this.
* please note that, in accordance with assay office regulations, where the weight of sterling silver used in any piece of jewellery is less than 7.5 grams it is not required to be hallmarked.
