Natural girasol is an opalised quartz that is translucent clear/white or pale pink according to the trace minerals. It has a dreamlike quality, and offers a refined and gentle healing energy. There is a fairy-like feel to its energy as well, with a very definite loving and delicate presence. Pink Girasol has an energy that is similar to rose quartz, yet is softer and more refined, emphasising everything connected with compassion and the heart; the white form is like a softer form of snow quartz, and offers a Higher sense of clarity and spiritual peace.
Do not confuse this material with what is called opalite, which is not a natural mineral, but a man-made form of glass.
