Nuumite

Nuumite is an ancient stone and is only found in Greenland. It is thought to be around 3 billion years old and this great age is reflected in its energies, which are deep and profound. Its basic colour is black but it holds iridescent sparks of coloured Light, a little like the flashes you get within opals, although these are very hard to photograph. The most common flash colour is gold, but any of the spectrum colours might be present. This is a stone for deep contemplation: of the mysteries of the Earth and her history; of ages and civilisations long gone by; and of the personal histories of the user, both in this life and others. The flashes of Light show the light that may be found at all times within the darkness, if one will but take the time and courage to look. We are told that "to SEE all, is to KNOW all...."
