Lithium Quartz

Lithium Quartz is a member of the quartz family. The main mineral is usually clear or smoky quartz, with inclusions, sometimes in phantom formation, of a lavender or pinkish-grey lithium bearing mineral. Crystals can exhibit included colouration ranging from cloudy white through to deep plum-red. The material may be found in crystalline formation (terminated or cluster forms) or in massive form, when it can be cut / polished into a range of tools and shapes.
All lithium-bearing minerals are excellent at balancing emotional states and dealing with extremes such as anger, aggression, depression, worry, anxiety or tension. When found within quartz their benefits are amplified and strengthened, making lithium quartz a wonderful aid to relaxation and to achieving a measure of serenity and calm. This means that this stone is also useful for children and babies (and pets!), aiding restful sleep and easy reconnection with their spirit-self in dream state: simply place within their sleeping area but for safety's sake ensure that they are not within their reach. Lithium Quartz also helps us to "let go and let God". Sometimes we struggle to achieve something we think we need / want, but without success. In these instances it may be that our Higher (Divine) Self knows better and we need instead to let go and surrender to our Spirit, with the certainty that all flows smoothly, if it is Right.
