Opalite

This material is man-made (it is a type of opalescent glass) but has its uses in a non-healing mode, due to its lovely colour and attractive appearance. Some confuse it with natural girasol / opalised quartz, but if you hold it to the light you can often discern swirls within the material that indicate how it cooled, OR you will find that it is far too opalescent and perfect to be natural! Being man-made and having no crystalline structure this is not programmable, but may acquire an energy of its own through repetitive use in a particular way - thus its value in ornamentation etc.
