Sphalerite

Sphalerite is a zinc-based mineral that may be found in crystalline formation (often with Calcites) or in massive blended or brecciated formations in combination with other zinc and/or iron based minerals (as here). It is a dense and heavy stone for its size, yet it is not as grounding as you might expect. Its pale green-grey colours, with hints of metallic gold and silver, seem to affect the heart and hara centres the most, aiding in centering and focusing the energy bodies within, rather than down through the pranic core. I feel this stone could however be applied to any chakra for this purpose, supporting in their balance; and you may also find it helpful to carry one in your pocket to aid creativity on all levels, whilst ensuring that you create what you need, rather than what you desire!
