Sulphur in quartz is very cleansing, thus aiding in clearing, healing and balancing any energy centre. It may also be held over physical areas of deep-seated infections or inflammation, where it may help clarify and cleanse the tissues on a physical level - NB this might have a detoxifying effect. If using in an essence or elixir it is advisable to use the indirect method of preparation, due to the suplhur content.
