Iolite (also called Water Sapphire) is useful for supporting the throat, 3rd eye and crown chakras, and as such makes a valuable meditation and journeying tool. These small gemmy stones have an energy that is very similar to sapphire, but with a more watery flow that allows for greater flexibility in your thinking and reasoning processes.
