Smoky Quartz: polished point (Madagascar)

This is a lovely deep smoky quartz that has been polished into a tabular generator shape. It has excellent clarity, with a small amount of veiling and multiple tiny inclusions of air. There are a few areas, notably the base, where the original crystal surface is visible, and showing where it was once attached to its groundmass. The whole crystal is very active!
