Amethyst: polished point (Brazil)

This is a pretty piece of natural Brazilian Amethyst that has been cut and polished into a tapering generator point. The amethyst is a delicate lilac shade, with a very good clarity and some subtle areas of layering and veiling, and pretty rainbows marking an internal fracture line.
