Herkimer Diamond (A): crystal

This good sized A grade Herkimer Diamond crystal has one nearly perfect termination, and one that is bisected by a small peak of groundmass that has some pitting to one side. The crystal has some very nice key indentations – one of which is a very unusual inward-pointing tetrahedron; and several internal bubbles along with some minor black inclusions of anthraxolite and some oily golden streaks. The body of the crystal has an excellent clarity, and a clean and clear sharp energy.
